FUNNELS

Most attorneys rely on what we call “hope marketing” – They wait & hope for referrals to come in. Hope that word-of-mouth will bring in some new clients. This only leaves them more frustrated as their entire business’s growth is out of their hands & they have little or no control over it.

You also don’t want to personally spend time hustling & prospecting for every single new client. That’s not scalable and will limit the ceiling of your firm’s revenue.

So what’s the solution?

The solution is an automated sales funnel strategy that generates a mixture of prospects who are ready to buy now, and prospects who’ll buy from you in the future.

This sales funnel ( if ran properly ), would bring in a predictable amount of leads per month, a predictable amount of new consultations, and a predictable amount of new clients to your firm.

Once it’s optimized, you could determine how many new leads & clients you want simply by adjusting your advertising spend accordingly.

Sales Funnel Strategy #1

Your first funnel is designed to offer a free, valuable resource ( like a PDF guide or free training video) to prospects in exchange for their email address ( building your email list ). They will then be prompted to join your private FB group ( where you’ll post more valuable content to earn their trust, and so when they need an attorney, you’ll come to mind over any of your competitors).

Sales Funnel Strategy #2

Your 2nd funnel is designed to target individuals who are looking for a lawyer right now ( targeting individuals who perform an online search with intentions of finding a personal injury lawyer for example ). They’re prompted to book an official consultation with you ( done on autopilot by using Calendly), and answer a few questions before they confirm the consultation so that you have information about them before the call/meeting.

Once you have your funnel setup, you need to drive traffic to the landing page. The most cost-effective traffic sources to drive potential clients into your funnel is through social media advertising ( Facebook/Instagram advertising. Organic traffic just isn’t going to cut it unless you have a very substantial following ( which most people starting out don’t have ).

To predictably grow your revenue & clientele, you NEED paid advertising. Like we said earlier in this guide, organic traffic/referrals/word-of-mouth isn’t going to cut it if you really want to grow your firm. Just look at the biggest companies in your field and even the world, they all spend massive amounts on paid advertising. It’s simply the best way to have control over your revenue.

With Facebook advertising, the biggest mistake I see attorneys make is that they go for the “grand-slam”. They run ads directly to their website or offer and try to turn the prospect into a client in ONE CLICK. With Google AdWords, this works as the advertising platform more suited for that and the prospect is actively looking for your services. With Facebook advertising, that’s not necessarily the case.

Make sure with your Facebook advertising that you’re looking to offer a free resource to the prospect ( hit a single ). Through your FB group & automated email marketing workflow, you’ll earn their trust and turn them into a paying client.

Conclusion
